Section 1

The Service

Pay Audtr provides a web-based payroll compliance tool that helps workers in the SCHADS industry (Social, Community, Home Care, and Disability Services) calculate their minimum entitlements under the SCHADS Award (MA000100) and compare those entitlements against their payslip.

The service currently includes:

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Section 2

Eligibility and Accounts

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

2.2 Account registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for keeping your account details up to date.

2.3 Account security

2.4 One account per person

Each account is for a single individual worker. You may use up to the maximum number of employer profiles permitted by your subscription tier within that account.

Section 3

Acceptable Use

3.1 Permitted use

Pay Audtr is intended for personal use by individual workers to verify their own pay entitlements. You may also use it on behalf of a worker with their explicit consent.

3.2 Prohibited use

You must not use Pay Audtr to:

Misuse of the discrepancy report or employer letter template to make false claims against an employer may expose you to legal liability. Pay Audtr accepts no responsibility for how report outputs are used.
Section 4

Subscriptions and Payment

4.1 Paid subscriptions

Access to premium features (AI scanning, full report export, extended employer profiles, letter generator) requires a paid subscription. Current pricing:

4.2 Introductory pricing Soon

We may offer discounted first-month or first-year pricing to new subscribers. Introductory prices apply only to the first billing period and will be clearly disclosed before you subscribe.

4.3 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All amounts are in Australian Dollars (AUD), inclusive of GST where applicable.

During our pre-Stripe launch phase, you may upgrade by contacting support@pay-audtr.com or paying by bank transfer. Your plan will be activated manually within 24 hours of confirmed payment.

4.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings or by emailing support@pay-audtr.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4.5 Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel an annual plan within 14 days of initial purchase and have not used the AI scan feature more than 3 times, you may request a full refund by emailing support@pay-audtr.com.

4.6 Price changes

We may change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers via email.

Section 5

Free Tier

A free tier is available with limited features (1 employer, manual entry only, audit verdict visible). We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier with 30 days' notice. The audit result (verdict and shortfall estimate) will always be visible to free users โ€” only export and advanced features are gated.

Section 6

Intellectual Property

6.1 Our IP

Pay Audtr, its logo, the calculation engine, report templates, and all associated software and content are owned by or licensed to Pay Audtr. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for its intended personal purpose only.

6.2 Your content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into Pay Audtr. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

6.3 Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback to improve the product, without any obligation to you.

Section 7

Your Data

Your use of Pay Audtr is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. Pay Audtr calculates entitlements based entirely on the data you provide โ€” inaccurate input will produce inaccurate results.

Section 8

Disclaimer โ€” Not Legal or Financial Advice

Pay Audtr is a calculation tool, not a legal service. Results are estimates based on the SCHADS Award (MA000100) as at the effective date stated in the app. They do not constitute legal advice, financial advice, or a determination of your actual entitlements.

In particular:

For authoritative advice: Fair Work Ombudsman โ€” fairwork.gov.au or 13 13 94, or your relevant union (HSU, ASU, ANMF).

Section 9

Limitation of Liability

9.1 Consumer guarantees

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9.2 Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pay Audtr's total liability for any claim is limited to the total subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9.3 Exclusion of consequential loss

We exclude all liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including loss of income, loss of employment, loss of data, or reputational damage.

9.4 Third-party services

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or failures of Stripe, Supabase, Anthropic, Vercel, or any other third-party service provider.

Section 10

Termination

10.1 By you

You may close your account at any time by emailing support@pay-audtr.com with the subject line "Delete my account". Your data will be removed per our Privacy Policy.

10.2 By us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the service in a way that causes harm. We will provide notice where practicable.

10.3 Effect of termination

Upon termination, your access ceases immediately. Sections 6, 8, 9, and 12 survive termination.

Section 11

Future Features

The following features are in development. These Terms will be updated before each is released.

Section 12

Changes to These Terms and Governing Law

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Australian state or territory in which you reside.

Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@pay-audtr.com to attempt informal resolution within 30 days.
